Richard P. Wild

Richard P. Wild’s practice concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and tax planning for closely held businesses.

Mr. Wild is a nationally and internationally recognized tax practitioner and is consistently listed in publications, including Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, Who’s Who in America, and The Legal 500 (U.S.), where he has been described as “an outstanding technician, very responsive, with broad-based business experience”. Ranked in Band 1 for tax in Pennsylvania by Chambers USA, Mr. Wild is praised as "truly extraordinary" and a "a luminary of tax" who can "make a complex matter very simple.” Previous editions have also cited him for his “great communication skills and fantastic breadth of technical expertise.”

Mr. Wild works closely with our corporate team representing leading New York-based private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He also advises many of the firm’s closely held clients.

In addition, he has written articles in the Journal of Taxation, the Journal of Taxation of Investments, the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation, and Practising Law Institute publications.
