Bishoy Eskander

Bishoy Eskander focuses his practice on banking and finance with an emphasis on mid-market multi-jurisdictional acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Eskander has broad experience acting for financial institutions, direct lending funds, sponsors and corporate borrowers across a wide range of unitranche, syndicated and club financings, including advising on complex mezzanine and PIK debt structures.

Mr. Eskander is recommended as a key lawyer in The Legal 500 UK 2025 for Acquisition Finance. Most recently, clients praised him for being “very technical,” having “deep market insight” and knowing “how to avoid terms creep to protect the lender.” They also stated: “we highly rate Philip Butler and Bishoy Eskander on their approach to documents from a lender perspective – commercial where they need to be and know where to push back.”

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Eskander served as a managing associate in the leveraged finance group at another global law firm in London.
